Dr. Robert C. Goldman, 68, of Fort Smith died Saturday, March 4, 2006, in Fort Smith. He was a 1955 graduate of Fort Smith High School, received a master's degree from Arkansas State University and his doctorate from the University of Mississippi. He was retired from the Rich Mountain Community College as the dean of instruction in Mena. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion and the Central Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Sue Goldman of the home; two sons, Robert Charles Goldman II of Carry, N.C., and Stephen Harold Goldman of Van Buren; two sisters, Nancy Brasher and Darlene Branham, both of Fort Smith; one brother, John Goldman Jr., of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Chuck Foley, Paul Johnson, Bill Vines, Perry Walker, Ira Berg, Bill Abernathy, Bill Stanley and Ted Hoffman.

She was a 1956 graduate of Fort Smith High School; she received a bachelor's degree from Arkansas State Teachers College and a master's degree from Arkansas State Univ.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Goldman II of Cary, N.C., and Stephen Goldman of Van Buren, AR; a brother, Harold Harris of Grove Hill, Ala.; and 2 grandchildren.
