Shirley Mae Boyette, age 77, of Benton died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Little Rock. She was born October 9, 1933 in Keevil, Arkansas. Shirley was a retired teachers aide for the Benton Schools and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, George H. Curtis Sr. and Eva Burrow Curtis, husband, Donald Boyette, son, Dwain Boyette, and two brothers, George H. Curtis Jr., Billy Bob Curtis. Survivors sons, Kenneth Boyette, Benton; John Boyette, Benton; daughter, Christina Bradshaw, Benton; brothers, Nathan Curtis Sr., Benton; Larry Curtis, Benton; sisters, Virginia Vandergriff, Malvern; Russlyn Krueger, Little Rock; Kathy Curtis, Benton; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Harmony Cemetery on Hwy 10. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Ashby's.
