James Thomas Watts 83, of Parkers Chapel died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Oak Ridge Nursing Home. He was born January 26, 1928 in El Dorado to Madison and Celia Ann Wigley Watts. He owned Watts Mobile Home Service and worked on mobile homes for many years. James loved playing with his grandchildren and fishing. James was an honest man who never met a stranger and was a true friend to many.
Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; Frank Watts and Hope Watts, a sister Roxie Turner and one grandchild; Derick Coleman.
He is survived by his wife; Pauline Watts, two sons; Jerry (Bertha) Wattsall of Parkers Chapel, Steven (Cheryle) Watts of Washington State, a sister; Leslie (Robert) Cartwright of Austin, Texas, granddaughter; Rhonda (Micheal) Lewis of Parkers Chapel, three grandsons; Zack Watts of Washington, Zeth Watts of Wyoming, Bryce Cartwright of Austin, Texas, four great grandchildren Michael Ray (Liz) of Louann, Jessie Lewis, Carol-Marie Jones, Josh Akins all of Parkers Chapel, and two great-great grandchildren Caidyn Lewis and Adaya Lewis of Louann.
Graveside service will be held at Wyatt-Parnell Cemetery at 10:00a.m. Friday, November 18, 2011. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 at Westside Baptist Church with Revs. Gerald Perry and Jim Turner officiating under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the funeral home.
The family will be at Jerry Watts home, 3098 Southfield Rd. El Dorado.
