Arlis Lelon Farris, 88, of Fort Smith, formerly of Spiro, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, in a local hospital. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Church of God. Funeral will be 1 p.m. today at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Revis Farris; one daughter, Linda Shepherd and her husband, Don of Fort Smith; two sons, William L. Farris and his wife, Carolyn of Mt. Ida and Johnny Ray Farris and his wife, Donna of Henderson, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Johnny Farris, Thurman Blanton, Don Shepherd, Bernie Kremer, Todd Lewis and Zachary Farris.

Revis Aline Farris, 86, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in her home.

She formerly lived in Spiro, Oklahoma where she was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arlis Lelon Farris.

Services were 10:00AM Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law Linda and Don Shepherd of Fort Smith, AR; two sons and daughter in laws, William L. and Carolyn Farris of Mt. Ida, AR and Johny and Donna Farris of Henderson, TN; one brother, Merl Rogers of Summerville, GA; ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Pallbearers are Johny and William Farris, Thurman Blanton, Don Shepherd, Cecil Cooksey and Christopher Baggett.
