Verna Dale Walls, Age 94 of Camden, formerly of El Dorado, passed form this life on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at her home in Camden. She was born on December 3, 1919 at Moro Bay, Arkansas to the late Roland Frisby and Rosie Lee (Culpepper) Frisby. Verna was a member of Pentecostal Fellowship Church of El Dorado, but attended Maul Community Baptist Church after she moved to Camden. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and friend, whom will be greatly missed by all.
Verna was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Curtis H. Greer; second husband, William Walls; two brothers and six sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include; one son, Travis W. Greer of Camden; two daughters, Barbara Jean Kelly of Blackwell, TX and Carolyn Kelly of Spring, TX; one brother, Mitchell Dean Frisby of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. William Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Green Grove Cemetery near Strong under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
