DALLAS — Myra Dee Darnall, 85, of Dallas, formerly of Fort Smith, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, in Plano, Texas. She was a homemaker and retired X-ray technician, a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Smith and a lifetime member of the PTA. She was past president of Fairview PTA, past president of PTA City Council, a member of the Sebastian County Medical Auxiliary and a member of the Sparks Regional Medical Center Women's Board. She was a former officer for the Booneville Housing Association and former officer of Presbyterian Women's Group. She was the widow of Dr. Harley Darnall.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Vaughn of Arlington, Texas, and Debbie Dantzler of Richardson, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert, Ryan and Nathan Vaughn, Duane and Kyle Dantzler, Dorvan Wiley and Rick Goins.
