Betty L. Rudell Studer, 96, of Van Buren, died July 4, 2017 in Little Rock, AR.
She was born June 1, 1921 in Fort Smith to Lloyd Maples and Nettie Elizabeth Sisemore O'Roark.

She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she has served as organist for the past 25 years. Betty was a 75 year member the Harmony and Barling Chapters of the Order of Eastern Star where she served as Past Worthy Matron. She also served as Past Royal Matron and Past Grand Royal Matron of the Order of Amaranth, and was Past Queen of the Daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by one daughter, Donna Marie and husband Robert Bailey of Little Rock, AR; one son, James Lloyd and wife Martha Rudell of Van Buren, AR; four grandchildren, Karen Bailey, Ashley Jackson, Jenifer Rudell Olienyk and Blair Bailey; along with seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John C. Rudell; and second husband, Robert Edwin Studer; one daughter, Nancy Leigh Jordan; and brother, James Lloyd O'Roark.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Cumberland Presbyterian of Fort Smith with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
