Felix was born July 1, 1920. one of ten children in Ackerman, Mississippi.In 1993 his wife of nearly fifty years, Maizie Emma Feemster, preceded him in death. Mr. Collier was also preceded in death by his mother, Bertie (White) Collier; father, William Ernest Collier; step-mother Mary (Sharp) Collier; brothers, Cicero, Victor, Byron, Breland and Johnny Collier and sisters Mary Emma Arnold and Sammy Dale Stafford.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Sharron Sue and Paul Lenington; two sons William Garland Collier and David Ellis Collier; three grandchildren David Garland Lenington and his wife Lori, Mark Ryan Lenington and wife Becky, Donny Wayne Lenington and wife Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Micaela, Amy, Amber, and Jacob; brother Jimmy Collier and sister Carnell Henley.
