Mrs. Cora Irene Comstock, 79, of 625 N. 13th Street, Van Buren, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 24, 1978 in a Fort Smith hospital.
A native of Uniontown, Arkansas, she was born October 17, 1898 to Henry and Cora McHolland Hulsey, and was the widow of Bart Comstock who died September 4, 1970. She was a member of Wood Memorial Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are three daughters, Bernice, Ava, and Doris; a sister Myrtle ; a brother; and six grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Fentress Mortuary chapel. W. Ray Moore was the officiating minister. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were board members of Wood Memorial Chiristian Church.
