FORT SMITH, Ark. — A graveside funeral service for Zella Bray will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roselawn Cemetery here. Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N. 12th St., Fort Smith is handling the arrangements. Mrs. Bray died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at St. Francis Nursing Home in Memphis, Tenn. She was 90. A native and former long-time resident of Fort Smith, she was a homemaker. She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fort Smith and a member of Second Baptist Church in Memphis.
Mrs. Bray is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bray; her parents, Charles and Ivy Martin; two sisters, Onita King and Lucille Robertson; and four brothers, Ernest Martin, Henry Martin, Delbert Martin and Amos Martin. She is survived by her only daughter, Joyce Hawkins and her husband, Ron, of Cordova, Tenn.; two grandsons, Brian Hawkins of Starkville and Kevin Hawkins of Cordova, Tenn.; three sisters, Wanda Kimmons and her husband, Bill, of Fort Smith, Mary O'Neal of Albuquerque, N.M., and Thelma Wooten of Sand Springs, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
