Janet Haliene Braddy, 93, of Fort Smith, AR. entered into rest on Friday, April 15, 2022 in Fort Smith, AR.
She was born January 31, 1929 in Little Rock, AR. to the late Arlie and Vernella (Foster) Prothro.
She was a homemaker, retired from the trucking industry and of The Church of Christ faith. Her nickname was J.J. and she loved to play cards and other games with her grandkids and loved holidays with her family. She loved to crochet, was a Razorback fan and loved to stay up to date on current events.
She is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin, her grandson Ben Schluterman, two sisters and her twin brother.
She is survived by her two children Vic Braddy of Fort Smith, AR. and Leslie (Rick) Schluterman of Fort Smith, AR., four grandchildren Nicholas (Cassandra) Braddy, Tara (Chad) Harcourt, Neil (Emily) Braddy and Matthew Schluterman and four great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR. Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.
