Betty Jo Enis age 68 of Junction City, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. Betty was born on June 4, 1951 in Russellville, AR to Bernice Hogan Bates and the late James "Bill" Bates. Betty was a retired LPN, having worked for David Wade Correctional Center for 30 plus years before her retirement. Betty enjoyed working in her yard and especially enjoyed fishing on the Ouachita River near her Mt Ida retreat.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, Bill Bates and her husband, Terry Enis.
Survivors include; her mother, Bernice Baker of Calion, AR; two sons, Sohn Enis and wife Kristi of Alexander, AR, and Casey Enis and his wife Amanda of Conway, AR; five grandchildren, Dylan Enis and Maddie Enis both of Alexander, AR, Grant Enis, Ryan Enis and Mason Enis all of Conway, AR; one brother, Bob Bates of Los Angeles, CA; one sister, Ann Lewis of Junction City; also, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Bailey Funeral Home in Junction City.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Junction City. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City.
