Jerri Lynn Nokes, age 58 of Longview, TX, formerly of Junction City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She passed away peacefully under hospice care in El Dorado, AR. Jerri was born on May 12, 1964 in Bernice, LA, the daughter of Jerry P. Blackmon and the late Janette Rogers Blackmon.
Jerri Lynn was a proud mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She raised her children with love and supported them fiercely in every endeavor. Not only was she a mother, wife, grandmother and friend, but she was renowned in south Arkansas as an exceptional cook. She loved feeding the people she cared about and was know to have a soft spot for those in need.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janette Rogers Blackmon.
Survivors include; her husband, of 27 years, Brad Nokes; son, Tyler Nokes and his wife Kylie, and their children, Ryder and Kyndall; daughter, Jordan Spence and her husband Justin, and their children, Brayden, Kase and Clyde; son, Dalton Nokes and his wife Chandler; son, Mace Nokes and his girlfriend, Makayla Anderson; daughter, Eva Nokes; her father, Jerry Blackmon and his wife Pauline; her sister, Rhonda Thurmon and her husband Troy, along with many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Three Creeks Baptist Church, with Bro. James Sparks officiating. Services under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR
