Marcus Leak, 58, a retired farmer and school bus operator of Junction City, died in Junction City Monday morning. He was born Aug. 23, 1906, in Junction City, the son of Lawrence C. and Dora Jones Leak. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Junction City. Mr. Leak is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Mae Moncrief Leak; two sons, Bruce Leak of Bedford, Tex., and Glen Leak of the U. S. Army, stationed at Bowling Green, Va.; two brothers, Bud Leak and Clifford Leak, both of West Monroe, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Hanry of Junction City and Mrs. Greer Odom of Haynesville, La.; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Junction City with the Rev. H. B. Fuller of Ruston and the Rev. A. W. Smart of Junction City officiating. Burial followed in the Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. Pallbearers were E. R. Lawrence, E. E. Laney, R. L. Bolen, Glenn Haynes, Patr Lusby and J. E. Templeton. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Claiborne Parish School Board. (The El Dorado Times - May 18, 1965)
