Robert Joe Thompson, 82, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, entered into rest on Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born October 28, 1932 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the son of the late William and Ocie Thompson. He was a former employee of Southwest Times Record. The widower of the late Jo Ann Thompson and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alicia. Survivors include his daughter, Charlotte Geiger and husband Lewis of Harrison, Arkansas, brother, George Thompson Sr. of Sugarloaf Lake, Arkansas, two grandchildren, Amanda Tauriainen and husband Matthew, and Robert Geiger. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith, Arkansas with interment at Oak Valley Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday, 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel,

Jo Ann Thompson, 73, of Fort Smith, entered into rest on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Fort Smith.
She was born March 4, 1938 in Lavaca, Arkansas the daughter of the late Lester and Edna Graham.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Alicia Geiger.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Robert, daughter Charlotte Geiger and husband Lewis of Mena, Arkansas, brother, Lester Graham of Poteau, Oklahoma, sister, Esther Ortiz of Greenwood, Arkansas, two grandchildren, Amanda Tauriainen and Robert Geiger, two great grandchildren, Zoe and Greyson Tauriainen.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith with interment at Oak Valley Cemetery, South of Lavaca.

Family will receive friends, Thursday 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy Ft. Smith.

Pallbearers will be Robert Geiger, Kendall Riggs, Shane Riggs, Raymond Ortiz, Matthew Tauriainen and Keith Perkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jess Perkins and Larry Montgomery.
