Ray Wimberly, 70, of Lavaca, AR. entered into rest on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born July 21, 1943 in Graham, TX. to the late William and Irene Wimberly. He was retired owner operator of 20 years at Wimberly's Service Center, of the Pentecostal faith, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Kustom KarKlub of America (KKOA) He had many valued friends and acquaintances including doctors, lawyers and business people that valued his honesty in the business. He was well known over the state of Arkansas for Dodge and Chrysler products. After he sold the business, he drove by it for 6 months because he missed the business so much. He survived by his loving wife Betty of nearly 40 years, 2 daughters Gena Deakins and husband Danny of Lavaca, AR. and Dora M. Solomon and husband Frank of Spiro, OK., 1 brother Eddie Wimberly of Fort Worth, TX., 1 sister Hope Louise Wimberly of Fort Worth, TX. 2 brother-in-laws B.J. Thomas and wife Sondra of Shirley, AR. and Eldon C. Thomas and wife Eulla of Delaware, 1 sister-in-law Ann Van Gundy of Lavaca, AR., 1 brother-in-law Charles Granger of Lavaca, AR., 5 grandchildren Justin Ray Potter, Emily Ann Potter, Corley Thomas Bigler, Jenni Marie Bigler, and Abby Elizabeth Bigler, 1 great grandchild Carlee Mae Bigler and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, AR. with interment at Oak Valley Cemetery in Lavaca, AR. Family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, AR. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be nephews, Ray Blaylock, Mike Blaylock, Aaron Thomas, Mark Thomas, David Thomas and Greg Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Thomas, Mike Thomas, Perry Granger and David Van Gundy. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Miracle Network. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, AR

Betty Jean Wimberly, 70, of Lavaca, Arkansas entered into rest Sunday, July 12, 2015 in Lavaca, Arkansas.
She was born March 28, 1945 in Paris, Arkansas to the late Selven Thomas and Jennie Case.
She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was preceded in death by her late husband Jimmy Wimberly.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Gena Deakins and husband Danny of Lavaca, Arkansas and Dora Solomom and husband Frank of Spiro, Oklahoma, 1 sister Ann Vangundy of Lavaca, Arkansas, 2 brothers; Eldon Thomas and wife Uella of Deleware, Arkansas and Bill Thomas and wife Sondra of Clinton, Arkansas, 5 grandchildren; Abby Bigler, Justin Potter, Emily Potter, Corley Bigler and Jenni Seymour and 1 great-grandchild Carlee Bigler.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be David Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Mark Thomas, Ray Blaylock, Mike Blaylock, Greg Thomas and Robert Biggerstaff. Honorary Pallbearers will be Perry Granger, Mike Thomas and Gary Thomas.
Interment will be at Oak Valley Cemetery in Lavaca, Arkansas. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel.
