Bill Allred, 79, of Lavaca died Sunday, March 7th, 2010, in his home with his family at his bedside. He was born November 28th, 1930, in Hartman, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Sam and Lela Allred. There will be a private family burial under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Beverly; two daughters, Kelly Whittaker and husband Bob of Lavaca and Debra Allred of Bartlesville; one son, W.A. Allred of Bartlesville; four grandsons, Kevin Ray, Erik Whittaker, Josh Allred, and Bryan Allred; two granddaughters, Amanda and Shawnda Allred; three sisters, Neva Arnold of Bella Vista, Gloria Eacret of Dallas, and Peggy Williams of Farmington, and six great grand children. The family will visit with friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10th at Lewis Funeral Home in Lavaca.

Beverly Allred, 88, of Lavaca passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, in her home with family at her bedside.
She was born Oct. 3, 1934, in Fort Smith.

She worked as a beautician for many years and had a passion for antiques.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Allred, father, Claude Espy, and mother and stepfather, Doris and Chris Ballman.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Whittaker and husband Bob; two grandsons, Kevin Ray and wife Leah, Erik Whittaker and wife Casey; and three great grandchildren, Presley Whittaker, and Chandler and Maverick Ray.
There will be a private graveside service for family under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
