Lorene Cartmill of Ozark(Franklin County), Arkansas, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, in Springdale(Washington County), Arkansas. She was born in 1930 in Lavaca(Sebastian County), Arkansas. She was a teacher at Ozark Public Schools, a house parent at Western Arkansas YOuth Shelter in Cecil, Arkansas, and a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Ozark, Arkansas and Webb City Baptist Church.
Lorene is survived by three daughter: Judy Cartmill of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Jan Donahou of West Bend, Wisconsin, and Kay Steabman of San Antonio, Texas; a brother: Gerald Moore of Lavaca; three wonderful grandchildren; and two precious great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at the 1st Baptist Church in Ozark. She was buried at Oak Valley Cemetery in Lavaca, Arkansas.
