Brenda Louise Gentry, 63, of Lavaca died Sunday, March 21, 2010, in Ozark. She was born Oct. 9, 1946, in Lavaca to Carl Smithson and Hattie Louise Boyd Smithson.
She was a member of Glendale Baptist Church and a retired floor inspector for Whirlpool.
She was the widow of Mike Gentry.
Funeral was at Smith Mortuary Chapel with burial at Oak Valley Cemetery, south of Lavaca.
She is survived by a daughter, Amanda Real of Rudy; her mother, Hattie Stem of Lavaca; two sisters, Velma Whitley and Linda Whitley, both of Lavaca; and six brothers, G.C. Smithson of Caulksville, Carl, Ronald, Kenneth and Roger Smithson, all of Lavaca, and Richard Smithson of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be G.C., Carl, Ronald, Kenneth, Richard and Roger Smithson.
