January 23, 1896 - March 3, 1969
Mrs. Mary Etta Loftin, 73, of Rt. 2, Junction City, died Monday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Born Jan., 1896, in Union County, she was the daughter of C. B. and Emma Price Adams. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Irvin Loftin of Junction City; three sons, Marving Loftin of El Dorado, Orbie B. Loftin of Palm Dale, Calif., and Albert Wade Loftin of Junction City; a brother, John Quincy Adams of Poyen, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Callander of Haynesville, La. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Young's Chapel. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery at Junction City under the direction of Young's. (El Dorado Times - March 3, 1969)
