Peggy Ann Thompson, 84, of Junction City, AR passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at her home.

Peggy was born April 23, 1938 in Spearsville, LA to the union of Billy Thurmon and Mildred Grissom Thurmon

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herbert W. Thompson.

Peggy owned and operated the Sweet Shop in Junction City, and retired after 43 years. She was always set on go and was very strong willed and was a hard worker. Christmas was her favorite time of the year she loved wrapping presents, making special bows, decorating and making Christmas candy. Peggy kept the roads hot and never stayed still. She loved her family and the outdoors.

Survivors include her daughter, Tonya White and husband Michael, her son, Bronson Thompson and wife Edie, three grandchildren, Heath Dunn and wife Robin, Kyle Thompson, and Austin White, three great grandchildren, Avery Dunn, Caspian Dunn and River Hudson.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the Bailey Funeral Home in Junction City.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Chapel of the Bailey Funeral Home in Junction City, AR with Bro. Ken Nelson officiating. Interment will be in the Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City, AR.

The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Mary Smith and Pearl Nute for all of their loving care for the last few years.

Any planned memorials may be made to the Roselawn Cemetery fund in Junction City, AR
