July 7, 1971 - December 19, 2021

Marquita M. (Linder) Woodring, age 50 of Fayette, Ohio, passed away early morning Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Flower Hospital in Sylvania. She was born in Paris, TX on July 7, 1971, to Joe M. and the late Wanda J. (Anderson) Linder. Marquita attended and graduated from Haughton High School in Haughton, LA. She married, and later divorced Dave Woodring, and they have remained friends. Most recently, she was engaged to Shane Phillips of Fayette, and he survives.

Marquita worked for over 27 years for Chief Supermarket in Napoleon, OH. In her free time, she loved to go to the zoo, especially the Toledo Zoo and Indian Creek Zoo. During Christmas time, her channel never left the Hallmark Channel as she watched numerous Christmas movies. She loved tulips, the color pink, and snowmen; but perhaps her most favorite thing was to visit Gatlinburg, TN and just be among the mountains.

Left to cherish her memory are fiancé, Shane Phillips; daughters, Ariel Woodring, Zoey Brown, and Raine Durbin; father, Joe Linder; and brothers, Marty and Bubb Linder. She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents.

A celebration of Marquita’s life will be held in the Fayette area at a later date. Private graveside services will take place at Roselawn Cemetery, Junction City, Arkansas, conducted by the Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, Arkansas.
