Joyce Faye Tankersley, 66, of Greenwood, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Greenwood. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Norried and one sister, Barbara Webb.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, of the home; her mother, Hazel Norried King of Greenwood; three sons, Randall Lee Elmore of Shady Point, OK, DeeBrian Tankersley and his wife, Rachelle of Greenwood, Kenneth Wayne Tankersley and his wife, Debbie of Centerville, OH; two daughters, Regina Cantrell and her husband, David of Greenwood, Donna Kiper and her husband, Frank of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Lois Elmore and her husband, Charles of Greenwood; ten grandchildren, Zachary Cantrell, Madison Cantrell, Jesse Elmore, Harley Elmore, Staci Stewart, Jacob Kiper, Sara Kiper, Nick Tankersley, Greg Tankersley, Jill Tankersley; one great grandchild, Devon Hastings and dear friends, Barbara and John Davis.
Services will be 10 A.M. tomorrow at First Assembly of God Church in Greenwood with burial at Dawson Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be today from 1-9 P.M. at the funeral home where family will visit with friends from 2-4 P.M.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Cantrell, Jesse Elmore, Jeremey Webb, Justin Bobbitt, Harley Elmore, Jacob Kiper, Wes Cantrell, Wesley Skaggs and Gerrett Cantrell.
