July 11, 1953 - December 31, 2017
Vickie I. Bruton, 64, of Bernice, LA, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017. She was born July 11, 1953, to Dudley Bill Addison and Gloria Sehon Addison in Barksdale Air Force Base.
She worked for Western Electric in Shreveport, and was active member Glory Ministries in Junction City. She was a creative person that enjoyed painting and writing poems, and she had a great sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Linda Darlene Crow.
Survivors include her brothers, Gary M. Addison of Florence, AL, Dudley E. Addison of Junction City, LA; sisters, Deborah Peregrine of Junction City, Melba D. Swenson of Shreveport; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Glory Ministries with Rev. Deborah Peregrine officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
