Mrs. Fannie Mae McDonald Cater, 81, died Sunday in a nursing home in Crockett, Tex. She was born May 13, 1888, in Union County, Ark., and was the daughter of John Robert McDonald, and Laura Goza McDonald. She was a member of Junction City Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Woodrow Cater of Junction City, Ark., and Lloyd Cater of Japan; and one daughter, Mrs. Garland Thomas, of Kennard, Tex.; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Bailey Funeral Home in Junction City, with Rev. Harold Cook, and Rev. E. V. Hearron officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews and grandsons. (The El Dorado Times - October 13, 1969)
