*Obituary
Sidney Wayne Basham, 72, of Fort Smith, died Sunday Sept. 19, 1999, in a Fort Smith nursing home. He was a retired engineer of the Creekmore Park Train and the widower of Doris Jean Basham. Son of Alvin Clyde and Inez Rebecca Reding Basham.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial will be at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown, Ark.
He is survived by one daughter Mary Pat Beck of Lavaca; one son, James Patrick Howes of Fort Smith; four sisters, Margret L. Canada of Greenwood, Estelle Bull and Omega Collins, both of Fort Smith and Ruth Bunting of Tahlequah, Okla.; two grandsons and one great-grandson.
