Mrs. Geraldine Guinn, 51, Rt. 1, El Dorado, died Tuesday in a local hospital following a brief illness. Born Jan. 16, 1920 in Union County, she was the daughter of W. H. and Pattie Murphy Dearing. She was a lifelong member of the county and a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Virgil Guinn, El Dorado; two sons, Derrell Guinn and J. Wayne Guinn both of El Dorado; a daughter, Mrs. Radye Sue Amason, El Dorado; three sisters, Miss Thelma Dearing, Mrs. Russell Boothe and Mrs. Muriel Boothe, all of Smackover; her father; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced by Rumph Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - August 11, 1971)
