Ms. Virgie Ann Perdue Schooley, 87, of Junction City, LA passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, at the Alpine Guest Care Center in Ruston, LA
Ms. Virgie was born December 28, 1929 in El Dorado, AR to the union of Harvey M Perdue and Nona Idella Hargett Perdue.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John Harvey Perdue, three sisters, Stella Pauline Perdue, Veda Lenora Perdue Jones, and Evelyn Perdue Mason.
Ms. Virgie was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Junction City, and loved working outside especially in her flower beds.
Survivors include her two daughters, Sandra Jean Whitaker and Mary Alice McDonald both of West Monroe, LA, two sons, Joseph Shelton McDonald and wife Alberta of Perryville, AR and Leonard E. McDonald, Jr. and wife Terryle of Junction City, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Bailey Funeral Home, Junction City, AR
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Junction City, AR with Rev. Jim Bynum officiating. Interment will be in the Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City, AR.
