Mrs. Ruth Simpson Cullins, 67, Junction City, died Wednesday in an El Dorado hospital. She had taught school in Dermott, Old Union, Montrose and Junction City, having received her BSE degree from Southern State College in Magnolia. She was a member of the Arkansas Education Association, Order of Eastern Star and First Baptist Church of Junction City. Survivors include her husband, W. W. Cullins; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Alice Jones, Junction City; one sister, Mrs. Tommye Simpson Broach, New Orleans; three grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Junction City with the Rev. Harold Cook officiating, assisted by the Rev. H. B. Fuller. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jim Bob Norris, H. E. Kinard, Howard Carlton, Clarence Durham, R. L. Bolen, Andrew Wilcoxen, Wayne Barrett and Bill Nelson. The body will remain at the funeral home until 2 p.m. Thursday. (El Dorado Times - October 10, 1968)
