Miss Nettie Mabel Blush, 1002 W. Elm St., died Saturday morning at Warner Brown Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of L. C. and Frances Kirby Blush, she was a registered nurse and had lived in El Dorado for 40 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in El Dorado. She was survived by one sister, Mrs. Florence Miller of El Dorado. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church by Dr. Don Harbuck and Rev. Durwood Penry of the First Christian Church. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Young's. Pallbearers will be: John Alley, A. Smiser, B. A. Newman, J. E. Ponder, Julius Miller and H. J. Williams, Jr. (The El Dorado Times - May 3, 1965)
