Blanche Marie Winborn, 91, El Dorado, AR, died on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. Born on August 25, 1929 in Caddo Mills, TX; she was the daughter of Claude and Lillie Maples Turner.
Blanche enjoyed life with her family. She loved going to church, parties, playing games, and watching game shows. More recently, Mother loved dominos. She loved her buddies but had no mercy, numbers were her game. She will be greatly missed. She was a member of Hillsboro Street Church of Christ. Blanche retired from Warner Brown Hospital's central supply.
Blanche was preceded in death by her Parents, her husband Carl Winborn, her sisters Pauline Arthur and Ruth miller, a son Bobby Winborn, grandson Phillip Winborn, son-in-law’s Danny Lewis and Victor Nipper.
Survivors are daughters Shirley Selmon, Carolyn Merritt (Kenny), Barbara Pepper (Ricky) and Donna Nipper; a beloved friend Monica Powell; along with 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services by Young's Funeral Directors will be at 10 am, Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Eddie Sexton officiating.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and friends that loved and cared for Blanche at Hudson Memorial, our true heroes.
