ROGERS — Roy B. Turner, 62, of Rogers died Oct. 27, 2008, at his home. He was born June 2, 1946, in Sallisaw, Okla., to David E. and Hazel L. Turner.

He was an Army veteran. He was a water well pump installer and owner of Turner Pump Co. from 1992 to 2001.

He also worked for Wal-Mart Security and the city of Rogers Animal Control and Lowe's in Rogers.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Diane M. Turner of the home; two sons, Donnie Turner and wife Casey of Springdale and James Turner and wife Kelly of Bentonville; his daughter, Jeannie Robinson and husband Shene of Lowell; five sisters, Malena Kay King of Colony, Okla., Wanda Sue Wright of Colony, Margaret Luvena Turner of Marion, Ohio, Martha Evelyn Jackson of Springdale and Norma Dean Turner of Springdale; four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Tom Hatley will officiate. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.

ROGERS — Donald Joe Turner was born July 27, 1983, in Springdale, Ark. Donnie passed away Monday, March 23, 2020, at his home in Rogers, Ark.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Newman Turner McCoy of Rogers; twin daughters Olivia Marie Turner and Hollie Patricia Turner; sisters Jeannie (Shene) Robinson of Rogers and Janet Turner of Germany; brother James (Kelly) Turner of Pineville, Mo.; nieces and nephews Sarah, Christian, Cameron, Skyler, Taya and Lennon; grandmother Helen Marie Newman of Marceline, Mo.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Benton Turner, and grandparents Donald Leo Newman and Ed and Hazil Turner.

He was a lifetime resident of Rogers and graduated from Rogers High School, class of 2001. His passion for working on cars, trucks and mechanical things lead him to follow a career in that area He started working at Bob Maloney Ford after High School, went to McLarty Daniel Ford, and was working as an assistant manager in the Parts Department at Steve Landers Toyota.

His first passion in Life was spending time with his beautiful twin daughters. He had a love for water, wakeboarding, fishing, kayaking anything involving the water and outside. He had a strong love for his friends and family.

Because of Donnie's deep roots in Rogers, he created close friendships and touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by all.

Graveside services at Pratt Cemetery in Garfield, Benton County, will be held at a later date. Condolences will be at Rollins Funeral Home, dignitymemorial.com.
