James Daniel Dumas, 63, of Rt. One died Monday morning at his home after a long illness. Born March 31, 1904 in Union County, he was the son of James and Ella Mooty Dumas. Mr. Dumas was a lifelong resident of this area, was an oil field worker. He was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church. Survivors include two brothers, E. E. Dumas of El Dorado, Eulon Dumas of Junction City, and four sisters, Miss Hazel Dumas and Mrs. Nell Warren, both of El Dorado, Mrs. Gertrude Quarles of Camden, and Mrs. Clyde Herring of Santa Cruz, Calif. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Rumph Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - November 20, 1967)
