December 26, 1898 - April 10, 1967

Mrs. Ruby Idell Tanner, 68, was found dead at her home at 625 W. First St., Monday afternoon. Death was attributed to natural causes. Born Dec. 26, 1898 in Union County, she was the daughter of Charles and Flora Drummond Combs. A lifelong resident of Union County, she was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, A. T. Tanner; two sons, James Ralph Tanner, Helena, and Donald W. Tanner, El Dorado; five sisters, Mrs. Maude Mooty, Mrs. H. R. Windham and Mrs. Lillian Britt, all of El Dorado, Mrs. Gladys Morgan, Farmerville, La., and Mrs. Gracie Childs, Texas City, Tex.; and four grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are at Rumph Mortuary.
