Betty Jo Dockins, 87, of Conway, AR, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020. She was born February 20, 1933 in Wooster, AR to the late Walter and Molly McKay. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Dockins and her sister, Mary Nell Thompson.
Betty is survived by her sister Mae Hope Rice of Enfield, CT, brother, Russell McKay of Des Arc, AR, daughter Sherry Roedel of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, son Michael Dockins of Allen, TX, granddaughters Stacey Butler of Freeport, FL, Lauren Bochsler of Bullard, TX, Hannah Dockins of Allen, TX, grandsons Zachary Binder of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Matthew Dockins and Kyle Dockins of Allen, TX, five great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Betty never cared to be the center of attention and per her wishes there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society .

Robert Lee “Bob” Dockins, born December 21, 1928 in Newport, Arkansas died January 11th, 2006 at the age of 77.
Doc worked as an electrician for Brown and Root for 20 years before retiring as Electrical Superintendent of the Middle East/Indian Ocean project in 1985. After retiring he returned to his original vocation of barber in Conway, Arkansas where he served his customers for over 15 years. He enjoyed the daily routine of the barbershop business and made many friends in the process. Doc loved to fish; take care of his birds, squirrels and lawn, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Doc also served his country during the Korean War in the United States Air Force.
Doc was preceded in death by his father: T.H. Dockins and his mother: Artie Dockins both of Beedeville, AR. He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Betty Jo Dockins; their daughter Sherry Roedel and husband Michael of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; their son Michael Dockins and wife Gina of Houston, TX; his daughterMargie Bailey and husband Tommy of Deland, FL; his sons Robert Dockins, Jr. of Hennepin, IL; Larry Dockins of Patton, ME; and Randy Dockins of Petone, IL; by his grandchildren: Stacey Butler, Zachary Binder, Matthew Dockins, Kyle Dockins, Hannah Dockins, Glenn Bailey, Caney Sommerville, Eric Dockins, Brian Dockins, Stephen Dockins; by his sister: Helen Addington and brother: Jerry Dockins both of Newport, AR.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:00 pm, January 14th at the Crestlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Conway. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday at Roller McNutt Funeral Home (501.327.7727). Online guest register:www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
Pallbearers are: Michael Dockins, Robert Dockins, Jr., Jerry Dockins and Michael Roedel. Honorary pallbearer is: Ruben Goss.
