Joyce Fuller Wilkie 93, of Farmerville, LA, was born May 2, 1924 in Bodcaw, Arkansas and passed away October 13, 2017.
The services will be Monday, October 16, 2017 at 1:30 pm at First Baptist Church, Farmerville, LA. Visitation is from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Norphlet, Arkansas, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors of El Dorado.

Joyce graduated from El Dorado High School and Oil Belt Vocational Technical School. She was employed by Murphy Oil in El Dorado until her retirement. Prior to moving to Farmerville 5 years ago, Joyce lived in Smackover, Arkansas where she was an active member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She had a tremendous love of fishing, and was an excellent seamstress; loved to quilt and cross stitch.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, George Wilkie and her son, Larry Wilkie, grandson, Mark Breeding, and brothers, Wilmer Fuller and Ual Fuller and sister Odell Hicks.

Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Nancy Wilkie Brumley and daughter-in-law, Alyce Mansfield Wilkie. She is also survived by grandchildren, Melodie Breeding, Lindsay Brumley, Andrew Wilkie (Andrea), Jason Wilkie (April), Angela Wilkie (Alicia): great grandchildren Lexie and Landon Breeding, Carson, Madeline, Jacob, and Ella Wilkie. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Bridges, brothers, Grady Fuller (Fran), and Bill Fuller (Sarah) and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Andrew Wilkie, Jason Wilkie, Jimmy Bridges, Robert Childers, Brad Risinger, and Tommy Fuller.

Honorary Pall Bearers are Gleaners Sunday School class and Ballard Sunday School Class.

A special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice, Stat Home Health and sitters Jessica and Nicole.

Memorials may be made to missions at First Baptist Church Farmerville 400 N. Main St. Farmerville, LA 71241.
