Fred Jackson Davidson, III, 66, of Norphlet, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019.
Born March 30, 1952 in El Dorado, he was the son of Fred Jackson Davidson, Jr. and Mamie Madeline Jerry Davidson who preceded him in death. Fred is also preceded in death by his step mother, Mary Gunnels. He was retired as lab manager from South Arkansas Eye Clinic after 38 years. Mr. Davidson was a member of First Baptist Church in Norphlet.
Survivors include a son, Chase Davidson (Lacy) of Paola, KS, a sister, Lynda Page (Ed) of Kemp, Texas, three half-sisters, Diann Haile (Joey) of El Dorado, Rhonda McCall of Norphlet and Billie Land of El Dorado, step-mother, Reeca Davidson and step sisters, Kenna Williams (Garry) and Janet Chenoweth(David) all of Smackover. Surviving grandchildren are Lila Davidson, Kaylee Davidson and Alana Davidson all of Paola, KS.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Doug Wills officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Young's.
