June 28, 1928 - January 7, 2019
Mary L. Richard, 90, of El Dorado, passed away, Monday, January 7, 2019, at her home. She was born on June 28, 1928 to Boyce and Alta Gamble Moore in Orange, CA.
Mary lived a full life- full of love and family. She was raised on a farm in Oklahoma. For many years, she worked in the restaurant and entertainment industry, catering to and enjoying time with friends and family alike. Mary also had a knack for painting. She loved to recreate magnificent scenes of peaceful landscapes and tranquil locale. With an exceptional green thumb, Mary also took much joy and pride in her gardening. She would transform her yard into an elegant oasis full of beauty and growth that would rival the best of the best.
Mary, lovingly known as "Meme Darling" or "Memaw" to her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, was a wonderful mother, grandmother, cook, homemaker, and so much more. She gave all the love she had to give and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her two sons, Larry Epperley (Camille) and Craig Richard, both of El Dorado; three grandchildren, Curtis Powell, Eric Epperley, Larry Dennis Epperley; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Young's Funeral Directors in El Dorado, Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5pm-7pm.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Young’s Chapel with Bro. J.D. Weido and Bro. Billy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
