Troy "Dwayne" Weatherley passed away on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 at his home in Vilonia, Arkansas.
He was born Friday, December 15th, 1961 to the late Troy Albert Weatherley and the late Patricia Ann (Peeks) Weatherley.
He attended school at Conway Public Schools and completed his high school education in the spring of 1980. At the time of death, Dwayne was employed by D & N construction in Vilonia, Arkansas and served as a General Manager. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and multiple outdoor organizations such as the National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Wattensaw Bayou Bowhunter's Association, Central Arkansas Bowhunter's Association, Archery Shooter's Association, Arkansas Bowhunter's Association, and the 12-Ring Archery Pro Staff. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his willingness to help others and teach, and his undeniable knack for being in the right place at the right time, regardless of the species being pursued.
He is survived by his four children, Heather Lynn (Chris) Killough and Troy Leon (Paula) Weatherley, both of Enola and Lillian Grace and Hannah Faith Weatherley and their mother, Angela (Davidson) Weatherley, all of Vilonia as well as three grandchildren, John Andrew and Cooper Leon Weatherley and Halle Lane Killough, all of Enola. He was preceded in death by both parents as well as his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Abner Weatherly and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Peeks.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Friday, March 4, 2016 at Conway Cowboy Church. Funeral services will be at 10am, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Conway Cowboy Church with Bro. Tim Nolan and Bro. Shane Dickson officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Conway.
Ellis Parker, Tony Mullenax, Gary Powell, Josh Aldridge, Darrell Strickland and Dickie Staggs will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Smith, Clarence Taylor, Rick Statterwhite, Larry Pinkerton, Jody Kelly, Floyd Weatherley, Jimmy Weatherley, Ronnie Weatherley, David Weatherley and James Mann.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dwayne's memory to Arkansas Wheelin' Sportsman, 1683 Spielerville Road, Paris, Arkansas 72855.
