Billy Ray Weatherley, 62, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 8, 2014 after a long illness. He was born in Hazen, Arkansas on April 14, 1952 to Ethel Loraine (Cook)Weatherley and Abner Weatherley who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two brothers; Floyd Weatherley and Troy Weatherley of Conway, and one sister; Christine Surguine of Conway.
Billy was a retired welder, painter, and tire mechanic. He loved working with plants and animals. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a son; Joshua Ray Weatherley, and a daughter Michelle Knell both of Conway, and their mother and longtime caregiver; Dianne Weatherley also of Conway.
He leaves behind one brother;Loyd Weatherley, and four sisters; Willa Branscum, Helen Sitzes, and Louise Heller of Arkansas and Debbie Curtis, formerly of Conway, now residing in Texas, grandchildren; Marina Haley Harmon and Joshua Holden Weatherley of Conway.
Visitation will be a Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be by Roller-McNutt at McNutt Chapel on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Ken Jordan officiating. Burial will be at Republican Cemetery , north of Greenbrier, Arkansas.
