July 16, 1946 - February 24, 2010
Virginia Kay Carroll born July 16, 1946 died Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 20 years of service. She loved fishing, crocheting, working in her yard and reading a good book.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Kinley and Winnie Mae Snearly; her sister, Winnie Janice McNabb; two nephews, Keith Allen Snearly and Kevin Wayne Snearly.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Henry Wayne Carroll; one brother, Kenneth Leroy Snearly and wife, Kathy; four children; three step-children and their respective spouses; eighteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews and their respective spouses; and seven great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p. m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Reverend Dewey Rhodes will be officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home.
