Calvin Dale “Cowboy” Dodson, 69, of Camden passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at his home. Mr. Dodson was born on April 12, 1944 to J. B. and Lily Bell Dodson.
Mr. Dodson was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha Dodson; and 5 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by two sons, Wayne Dodson and wife, Amy, and Joey Dodson and wife, Kasey both of Camden, AR; one daughter, Amy Wallingsford and husband James also from Camden. Seven grandchildren; Kayla Chambers and husband, Chris of Cabot, AR, Morgan Dodson, Tyler Dodson, Avrill Dodson, Layne Wallingsford, Cavin Dodson, and Emma Dodson all of Camden. One brother, Joe Dodson and wife, Louise of Sparkman, AR and one sister; Dorothy Avery of Heber Springs.
Visitation for Mr. Dodson will be held Monday 6:00 – 8:00 at the funeral home. Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
