Margie Louise Parker of Camden, AR passed away on September 12th, 2022 at the age of 88. She was born August 26, 1934 in Norphlet, AR to Johnny and Mary Dale Duncan. Margie was a cosmetologist and teacher of cosmetology for 40 years. She was also a devoted member of Fairview United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Margie is preceded in death by her husband, of 52 years, Sammy Parker and grandson Timothy Parker.

She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Walker and husband Gary; son, Richard Parker; son, Johnny Parker; grandson, Eric Gowie and wife, Donna; granddaughter, Monica Gowie; granddaughter, April Parker; granddaughter, Amanda Parker; grandson, Adam Parker; great-grandson, Dalyn Parker; great-granddaughter, Ava Linaries; great-grandson Keaton Rainey, great-granddaughter, Graclyn Parker; great-grandson Eric Gowie, Jr., and great-granddaughter, Kimberly Parker.

Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, September 15th, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Proctor Chapel, officiated by Rev. Katherine Burchfield followed by interment at Bethesda Cemetery.
