Sherrell Lynn Pedron, age 83, of Benton, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Saline Memorial Hospital. He was born March 31, 1929 in Camden, AR to the late Julius Andrew Pedron and Lora Bell (Rogers) Pedron. Mr. Pedron was a US Navy Veteran of both WWII and the Korean War, a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Benton, and retired from Alcoa where he was an industrial mechanic.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Joy Muriel (Mackey) Pedron of the home; one son, James Pedron and wife, Mary Lynn of Montgomery City, MO two daughters, Connie Pedron and Andrea Mann and husband, Jerry all of Benton; three granddaughters, Rachael and Rose Mann and Jamie Lynn Schroer and husband, Kyle; two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Haley Schroer; one step-grandson, Peyton Schroer; other relatives and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Rev. Natasha Murray-Norman officiating.

The committal service will follow at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Bethesda Cemetery in Camden.

Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 22, 2012 at the funeral home.

Memorial donations will be made to New Hope United Methodist Church of Benton, 1614 New Hope Road, Benton, AR 72015 or the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
