Thelma Joe “T.J.” Scalfaro, age 66, of Little Rock died June 11, 2009. An avid reader, she was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church and was a registered nurse for over thirty years at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Fort Roots in North Little Rock. She was born February 19, 1943 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Paul and Thelma Pyles Skrmetti. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Joseph Scalfaro. Survivors include her husband of forty-six years, Joe Scalfaro of Little Rock, a son, Angelo Scalfaro and is wife, Kristi, of North Little Rock, a sister, Reggie Skrmetti of Little Rock and a brother, Paul Skremitti of Conway, Arkansas.
