Steven Roy Slack, age 75, of Louann, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was an Army Veteran and a member of Sylvan Hills Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Malina Chavers Slack; brothers, David Slack and Eugene Slack; sister, Edna Cantrell; and stepmother, Maggie Slack.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Slack of Louann; daughters, Linda Slack and fiancé Mitchell Hunt of Monroe, LA, Debora Hindmon and husband, Dan of Bastrop, LA, and Kim Bley of Monroe, LA; son, Mike Slack and fiancée, Lisa Lowery of Mt. Holly; grandchildren, Brandon Courson, Josh Morrison and wife, Cara all of Monroe, LA, Lance Olvey of Memphis, TN, Cameron Olvey of Monroe, Jacob Morrison and wife, Tara of Ft. Worth, TX, Anna Huneycutt and husband, Britt and Melaney Slack both of Camden, AR and Katie Hollis of Monroe, LA; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Olvey, Loralie Olvey, Easton Morrison, Caylor Morrison all of Monroe, LA, Harper Morrison of Ft. Worth, TX, Payton Huneycutt and Hallie Huneycutt both of Camden, AR, Reed Hollis and Hadley Hollis both of Monroe, LA; sister, Diane Walker of Bastrop, LA, and brother, Don Slack of Horseshoe, LA.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Bethesda Cemetery. Carl Hart will officiate the service. The family will receive friends and family from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
