Doris Peace Summerhill, 96 of Camden, AR passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021. She was born June 16, 1924 in Norphlet, AR to William Rufus and Ernestine Gilbert Sims. She was a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Allen Peace and Elmer Summerhill; brothers, Gilbert Sims and William Sims; and sisters, Catherine Edwards and Alice Mae Sims.
She is survived by her son, Douglas A. Peace and wife, Marilyn of Florida; daughter, Lowetta Peace of Hampton, AR; grandchildren, Matt Peace and wife, Clare, Lisa Vickers and husband, Chuck, Christopher Edwards and George Edwards and his children; great grandchildren, Chase Vickers, Austin Peace, Taylor Peace, Corbin Vickers, Caitlan Vickers, Brittany Edwards, Lakyn Edwards and Christopher Edwards, Jr.; and great great grandchild, Zoie Vickers.
A graveside service will be held 10:00AM Saturday, May 01, 2021 at Bethesda Cemetery in Camden, AR. Visitation will be 5-7 Friday at Proctor Funeral Home. Wade Totty will officiate the service.
