Peggy Woten Patterson Powell died Monday, December 5, 2016 at the age of 99. She was born March 29, 1917, in Iola, Kansas. Ella “Peggy” Woten was the daughter of Emanuel and Enola Langley Woten. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Camden, Arkansas. She was retired from International Paper Company, Bag Pack Division.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, Claude Burkett, Herbert Patterson, and Billy Powell, a daughter, Merlene Burkett Chambliss, three sisters and a brother.
She is survived by a great niece, Dee Grant of Olathe, Kansas, and niece Paulene Neal of San Leandro, California, as well as many special friends.
Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2016 at Proctor Funeral Home from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 10, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church, 313 Greening Street, Camden, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Camden, Arkansas. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
