December 9, 1969 - January 2, 2021
Kimberly Michelle Ballard, 51, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 2nd after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving husband, Scott, of 32 years and her family. She was born on December 9th, 1969 in Camden, AR to her parents Eugene and Dot Steelman.
When times would get hard, Kim would lean on her Faith and remember Psalms 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God." In her battle with cancer she was an inspiration to others with her Faith and strong will.
Kim loved all people in general. She spent most of her career life working in the medical field in the DME business and love helping her patients. She had a caring heart and knew no stranger. She was always quick with a smile and a kind word. She was selfless; constantly putting others before herself. She expressed her love for others through her cooking. In Kim's spare time she was active in volunteering with her church, Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father Eugene Steelman. She is survived by her husband, Scott Ballard; children, Dustin Ballard and Sarah Wilkes (Gary), all of Camden, AR; brother, Robert Steelman (Reesa) of Louann, AR; and her mother, Dot Steelman also of Camden, AR.
The family will be welcoming visitors at Proctor Funeral home Tuesday, January 5th, 2021 from 5PM-8PM. Services with be held at Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Wednesday morning at 11:00AM, January 6th, 2021. With interment at Bethesda Cemetery in Camden, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
