Lynda Smith Harris, 68, of Magnolia, AR died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Post Acute Medical Specialty Hospital in Texarkana, TX.
She was born May 24, 1948 in Taylor, MS and was the owner of The Gap and The Gap II Hair Salons.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents Paul Eugene and Myrtle Blanch (VanMeter) Smith; brother Clinton Smith; and a sister Evelyn Combs. She is survived by her daughter Connie Roberson of Royal; granddaughters Rachial Schaffhauser and husband Jake of Magnolia, Terra Roberson and Corley Roberson both of Hot Springs; brothers Earl Smith of Langley, Van Smith of El Dorado and Ron Smith of Hot Springs; sisters Ruth Thomas and husband Billy of Magnolia and Betty Moses of Hope; her furr child “Baby”; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, April 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 4 at 3:00 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Joe Owens officiating.
